LuchaCoach: Local AI Meeting Coach
This talk demonstrates LuchaCoach, a macOS app that captures audio, transcribes meetings with Whisper, and uses GPT-4 for real-time coaching and feedback without cloud syncing.
I’ll demo LuchaCoach, a macOS app I built as a personal AI meeting coach. It records both mic and system audio, transcribes with Whisper, then uses GPT-4 to track goals, give live feedback during calls, and tell me when I’m rambling or missing key points. Think of it as a little lucha libre voice in your ear helping you not say something dumb.
This project was born from two disappointments: I love what Granola.ai is doing, but their pricing and growth-driven roadmap pushed the product away from being a focused coach. And my Rabbit R1? Let’s just say it doesn’t show up for practice. LuchaCoach is my response: local-first, smart, and focused only on making your conversations sharper.
