AI is dramatically increasing engineering throughput. As a result, the new constraint is product management capacity and reach: choosing the right things to build, translating intent into crisp requirements, and keeping teams aligned through delivery.
But it’s risky to blindly offload critical product decisions to AI—especially the “what should we build and why?” layer. “Sure, let’s put that on autopilot… what can go wrong?”
